We typically install diesel driven pumps due to their reliability and fuel which is safer to handle that gasoline, propane engines are also recognised as a safe alternative.
What is the difference between the Yanmar, Hatz and Honda pump options?
We see the Hatz engine as a premium quality engine with additional features others don’t have, the Yanmar engine is more commonly recognised in the market with good after sales support, the Honda engine is more commonly used for low cost pull or key start installations.
Can I get a custom pump size if my property requires higher flow or pressure?
Yes, Platypus can build custom pump sets to suit larger systems.
