This Kit Includes
2 Patented WASP gutter mount sprinkler brackets with built-in adjustment for higher roof pitches. Gets water to the roof top where needed to protect the home from burning embers created by bushfires. *North American model shown
2 Sets of fire department grade lay-flat hose in 7.6m lengths with standard garden hose connectors. Used by firefighters to combat bushfires because it weighs a fraction of the same size of rubber or plastic hose and compacts to an incredibly small package for storage. Great for home and garden, marine and other uses where ease of use and compact size are needed. Excellent for anyone tired of manhandling standard heavy and awkward garden hose.
2 Agricultural-grade sprinkler heads designed for irrigation and used by farmers. The sprinklers are rated for a 10m spray radius and use less than one-fifth the water of standard garden sprinklers.
2 Patented WASP fence/fascia mounts for sprinkler use for homes without gutters, or for mounting sprinklers to walls or fences when needed. Used by firefighters to protect equipment and gutterless structures from bushfires.

FAQ
Can I use the WASP kit without a pump, just with my garden hose?
We would recommend having a pump and an independent water supply because mains water can be unreliable in the event of a fire.
Where can I buy a gutter sprinkler system for bushfire protection?
Kits can be purchased via the Platypus website.
What if my home does not have gutters, will the WASP still work?
The Wasp Kit comes with brackets that can be screwed to the fascia and or other building surfaces.can build custom pump sets to suit larger systems.
How much water does the WASP actually use?
Each Wasp sprinkler uses around 6lpm, in cases where the supply pressure is higher the water used may increase.
Is the WASP something I leave permanently installed or put up when needed?
The Wasp Kit is typically set up during the bushfire season and removed during the winter months.
